aya (main character dalam 'one litre of tears')
[keciknya gambar..]
erm. despite the not-really-productive midsem holiday that i'm having, i've watched some episodes of a japanese drama entitled 'one litre of tears'. at the moment, the drama is showing every saturday ; 6pm ; on 8tv. but, i watch it no more on tv. i've bought the dvd (which is much more cheaper compared to the korean drama vcd). heheh.
erm. i won't be advertising the drama for nothing and i recommend all of you to watch the drama. so far, i've cried twice while watching the drama. most of the episodes are very touching (err..provided that you have enough sensitivity and sympathy or empathy, etc).
always, if we're talking about people's life, the most important thing is the lesson that we can learn from others' life and experiences. be it their happiness, sadness, success, failures, ups and downs of life, anything, which are valuable and able to give something for us to ponder on.
this drama is based on a true story of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from a brain disease called 'spinocerebellar degeneration'.
Synopsis
15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya was an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration – a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?
dipendekkan cerita, 'one litre of tears' mengisahkan tentang hubungan kekeluargaan, persahabatan, ketabahan, kecekalan, keyakinan, kegigihan, (ketekunan?)-nama-nama kelas kat ktdthb. =p
so, just watch it yourself!
p/s : it is not a new drama actually. it happened that i just knew about the drama last month. thanks to my housemate, a japanese freak; mana-chan a.k.a aesha for promoting the drama to all the members of our house. hehe.
